Are they still ok? Of course only the real stunts so far have or further will put them into any danger, sometimes even hurting or deadly ones. AI surely never won't do that. Sometimes I wonder if they are even capable of thinking for a few seconds only before they come up with such complaints.

Posted in: Scientists say human-caused global warming is exacerbating natural disasters such as fires and floods around the world, making them both more likely and more deadly. Do you agree? See in context

No, there have always been floods and fires all around through all planets' and humans' history, many much worse than now. You find even fearful early stories, descriptions and paintings through all epochs, already in bible or medieval paintings, from the first documented past up to our modern TV footage etc. I guess a lot of people overestimate the significance of us human beings rather too much. Even our biggest and worst global impact ever, the two atomic bombs, is soon almost forgotten and the places again nice and filled with people.

Posted in: Taliban entrenched in Afghanistan after 2 years of rule; women and girls pay the price See in context

No need to discuss it further. It is, for everyone with a few brain cells, a multiple times proven no go area. The experiences of Russians, Americans and the Afghans themselves should now be more than sufficient to give everyone a little hint how to handle that. Flee when inside, ignore when outside. That's all to it.

Nothing against wasting money on higher conventional defense budgets or development of space defense activities and anti hypersonic missiles measures and all such, but I guess a few yen also spent on supporting buyers of such products by tax exemption, setting price limits or whatever, might be not the worst idea when having a very big mouth talking about reclimbing birth rates and young families' support.

extreme weather associated with human-caused climate change

A bad propaganda sample for proving the phrase 'human-caused'. Geographically, the next human populations or significant economic and industrial activities are thousands of miles away, in fact they are even a whole hemisphere away. lol

could apply for asylum there and stay

So do you really think Tunisia and other North African countries want or need those 'highly educated and peaceful experts' anyhow? Only the West is keen on taking them in without questions and believes the fairy tales that there are merits for the labor market or countering shrinking population problems. But no one else is such completely stupid and suicidal, of course not. They don't even take European money for keeping them away , although they could very well use it for enough other own problems. Or even more clever, they take the money and send them all to the West later anyway.

We just will not even land all on an alien planet, so it's an obsolete imaginary theory which not needs to be discussed, as also here on Earth nothing will develop for better. That's become sheer impossible, after having passed zenith long ago. Maybe he should first also study some physics and biology, but hopefully not at Harvard. Later, also a few additional kernel theses and global development predictions from the philosopher M. Gabriel deserve quite some consideration. But that's all to it, really. Everyone knows or at least feels, that it's already 'game over' epoch now.

Posted in: Japan's smoking rates continue to decline for men, women in 2022 See in context

And now what? We have even now a sinking life expectancy, statistically. Admitted, that also must not the reason, but it's of course contributing to the fact that if one risk is lowered, then other risks will rise accordingly. For example or illustration, you have then a few less lung cancer cases, but let's say more deadly sports accidents, because the more or newly non smokers then think they are fit like Hercules. And so on, bicycle or mountain climbing or swimming accidents, or even more cases of dangerous overwork and all such. Smoking isn't good, but not smoking isn't at all or at least not so very much better.

Posted in: Whatever happened to Premium Friday? Japanese government looks set to pull the plug See in context

The impact on economy is negative, because less groups of employees or other people will go out on Fridays evenings. But the idea is not such bad. Maybe they should change it to Wednesday or Thursday. Remains the problem anyway, that nowadays and with such hyperinflation everyone needs the full hours and extra or overtime hours payment. In fact something is wrong in general, and it is still not addressed or expressed, neither by voters, employees, companies, unions or government. It's all put under the carpet as usual and remains unoutspoken or ignored, just heavily piling up to all the other known problem catalogs.

Sounds plausible and an interesting concept or business model, although we've seen already a few issues with or within the blockchain technology. I guess, in practice it's also not completely free of vulnerabilities, leeks or breeches.

Who really still cares? They will just only land there where's also already a declining scientific standard, and from there people in return come here for replacement, but also only will find that same declining standard.

What is that permanent hype about Rolex watches even based on? The only watch in front of me that leads to I would immediately lose self-control is an extraordinary time masterpiece from a watch designers' small manufacture, called DeGrisogono meccanicche, located in Geneva, Suisse. Someone knows or has got one on offer, or maybe a copy?

Posted in: Japan's real wages fall in June for 15th month under inflation See in context

Considering that an estimated half of population not even has any or insufficient income or employment wages and therefore also not any increase, for example kids, students, selfemployed or small business, seniors, sick, disabled and unemployed people and so on, the raises would have to be at least double the inflation rate, if someone expects a balancing out and drippling through to the poorest, to manage the negative inflation effects on average. We are very far from those more than double increases, even most of the employees in wealthier or big player companies. So in fact we don't need to discuss those low level and fake ' increases ', as they are only cementing the average downturn.

Doesn't make much sense, because considering sizes alone you will easily see that Moon and also Mars are much too small to serve as a significant source, replacement or extension to living here on Earth. Be at least a bit more realistic please, and better try to care first about the problem catalogs we have already here and still growing unsolved.

Of course it can't be generalized, but a big part of the intrinsic cases surely show kind of a 'career' or stepwise escalating 'evolution', starting with torture and killing of insects, then smaller and bigger mammals and finally other people, own family members or relatives and acquaintances, later by random and for 'fun' or even more escalated when it has become already boring. Well, take care everyone, I am sure we all have already started our careers too one way or another, at least with killing intentionally quite some small or bigger insects, haven't we?

No, that’s in contrary a good sign, because dogs who bark won’t bite. I can tell you the proven results, neither that country nor its big army still exist anymore.

Yes, why not? It’s highly probably more and more strictly tested or checked on all ingredients and radiation values than any other food worldwide, through all stages of production and delivery. Considering that, it’s maybe not 100% safe too, but safe at the most possible level.

The only sure thing is that almost no one will exactly live as long as those theoretical average numbers. To illustrate, throw a dice several times, the average will of course be nearly about or exactly 3.5, but no one will ever manage to throw a 3.5 with a dice.
