There could be a "Richard Sorge" working for China in Japan. Can be a man or woman who is sympathetic with China's struggle and hatred of U.S.

Sorge was a German reporter who tipped vital stragetic information to Stalin in 1941 that saved the Soviet Union and the tide of W.W.2. History always repeat with hero's who made it behind curtains.

I remember Aso-San held a political public relation campaign by sat in a train and discussing politics with some teenage school girls, it was twenty years ago. The passengers around him has no interest and the school girls stood in front of him were tired of his speech. If Taiwan count on this guy for public relations, you are really wrong!

This is very insulting to Taiwan, Aso-San doesn't have a good reputation, he is an embarrassment of whatever the things he touched. He is the old Japan and he might not in politics next year, not much he can help them. Perhaps he will make some funny and blizzard remarks about Taiwan that shocked everyone!

China's past and present behavior, the credibility of any allegation or claim concerning China increases significantly whenever China denies it.

Oh indeed and so do they(the Chinese), Based on usual America's exceptionism whenever there is an accusation on America behaviour, the Chinese and her allies believe significantly whenever she denies it. Then what is left for discussion? Nothing, we should just walk out the site after shouting at others!

@RichardPearce Didn't you know the American politicians said Chinese solar panels were a threat to their date security? It might take 100 plus years of time for them to produce "Made in USA" or "Made in whatever country except China" to fullfill the solar energy they needed. So it was America her own faults causing the delay and world climate problems!

It was all America's faults, Donald Trump withdrawn from thar treaty does not means Biden administration is sincerely committed with that principal, they are no differences. America just don't want to do their part of saving the earth climate, they are just sneaky slowly stay out of their obligations to clean up the earth they made pollution for two centuries.

Don't blame everything from China.

Posted in: Australian PM confident U.S. will deliver nuclear-powered submarines See in context

@deanzaZZR More than ten years later, the Aussies will acknowledge their $246 billion is way too little to pay for the cost overruns. Meanwhile the Americans has told them shortage of skilled labours and the schedule to service their own SSN, the schedule to deliver first boat will delays two years at least. There were too much uncertainty in this 12 years. There will be two outcome, either the massive budget sunk Australia or the project sunk itself. Australia just cannot afford this program. Keating's remarks is right, the worst deal ever!

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Posted in: Australian PM confident U.S. will deliver nuclear-powered submarines See in context

The Aussie can wait, they do have that long patience to wait for their naive dreams come true about owning nuclear submarines(SSN). Thirty years from now at least to acquire their first SSN, until then the Virginia class will be obsoleted.

They should have listening to Paul Keating's advice to abandon that stupid deal. Pity no Aussie took his adivce seriously. By the way until then 2053 the first SSN May cost over 8 billion dollars per boat as the cost will soar and soar due to the delays. Usually the people from "The third world" has very big and silly dreams. What a sucker deal!

What,New Caledonia ? A base for the French to project their clumsy laughable influence in Asia ? Do they have a runway 2000m at least and aircraft hangers as well over there, they need to build a bigger man made island first, by the way are they going to part their only aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle over there ?

That is interesting !

Posted in: Japan, France begin 1st joint fighter jet drills See in context

Yes, France can't help Asia, period! France still has some former colonies in central Africa like Chad has insurgencies. If the Europeans don't fix their problems with Islamic insurgencies from the Islamic world, they are coming for you. You know some European countries piss off the Muslins by buying the Quran. China is too far for the poor Europeans, even further than the journey to Mars!

France better worrying their little Europe instead messing with Peoples Republic of China. Mr.Putin is dedicated to get back the lands of former Soviet Union. Because NATO did not honour their promise of eastward expansion putting the entire Sea of Baltic in danger, an imminent danger to St. Petersburg. How many Aircraft Carrier does the French has ? One !

By the way, the Sino Russian military cooperation will further extend to North Pole, China is very interested with the natural resources over North Pole although she is not located near the top of the world. Asia is definitely not European's business, they will break if their forces over stretching!
