Because of that woke bs, with mandatory lgbt garbage, that recently comes from Hollywood, it's a very good possibility.

I prefer the Cinema for quality movies, however those are becoming rare and rare.

Japan and Saudi both have in common a lot of things. Such as the "perfect" gender gap, women rights and especially the treatment of East Asian workers. ;)

Posted in: Japanese high school kids average 12% correct answers in English oral test See in context

That's 100% the Ministry of Education fault and has been for decades. The English teaching system is totally broken. You don't learn a language by memorising words and phrases, and the only valid answer is the one with the perfect grammar.

Plus the nr. 1 most retarded thing: using Katakana to pronunce and memorize the words...

Why?!?

Posted in: 3 schoolgirls drown in Fukuoka river on 1st day of summer vacation See in context

The swimming classes in Japan are the worst in the world. You need to take several years (!!!) classes in order to actually learn how to proper swim. Kids go from young age to those classes, indeed, however is more like a fun playing in the water than actually teach how to swim.

On top of that ALL of the pools are very shallow, and kids never have to face their deep water fear.

Posted in: Japan's core consumer prices rise 3.3% in June on year See in context

This doesn't tell the true story. The ACTUAL REAL price hike is 75% increased in all prices compared to 2-3 years ago, taxes went up, gas, water, electricity, al went up by 50% in less than 3 years. That's the truth. While salaries are the same or worst...

Is funny how the Japanese government allow all it's land to be bought by Chinese with government sponsored funds...

Probably the man cracked after years of bullying and abuse from his boss.

We all know how those are in a traditional Japanese company.

Not defending the culprit, but you can so far push a man to his limits...

Posted in: Kyoto merchants want city to install more trash cans to fight litter in historic neighborhood See in context

the city would be reluctant to have large fleets of noisy garbage trucks driving around the neighborhood’s narrow streets to make multiple trash pickups every day, to say nothing of the additional budget burden.

Aww, additional budget burden... No other country in the world have a burden with providing basic sanitary services in the city, which everywhere in the world IS THE NORM, except Japan.

And yes, there are way cleaner cities in Europe than Tokyo, Kyoto etc. Just go to cities such as Prague, Bucharest, Wien, Oslo, Stockholm, etc

Ah, the Japanese "Justice" system and its kangaroo courts.

On a country that still treats ALL foreigners as 2nd or 3rd class people, how can somebody expect TRUE Justice over a murdered Sri Lankan girl?

Sadly, nothing is going to change...

Posted in: Man arrested for pushing father off bridge into river in Osaka See in context

Lack of love, affection and attention of the Japanese parents creates those kind of soulless monsters. Never seen a parent in Japan kissing and hugging a children, no wonder they are growing up without any kind of affection and love to the parents. They only see them as burdens to be taken care off.

Posted in: Prosecutors to pursue retrial of man who spent decades on death row See in context

So the man has an extremely high probability is innocent due to forced confessions. Seems like nothing changed in Japan's "Justice System" for the past 60 years. Still the same cangaroo courts, still the same hostage system and guilty before find innocent garbage.

Those are not trainees, so are children, younger than 20 some of them, crammed 20 of them into a small apartment, with their passports taken and no possibility to complain to anybody or be listened.
