What do Russia, China, North Korea and Iran have in common? Answer: No free speech. No freedom of religion. No right to assemble publicly. No freedom of the press. All of the leaders of these countries languish in oppulence while the median per capita net worth of its citizens is less than $600. So to all the cowards who support the dictators of these countries, walk the talk and not talk the walk.

Japan should not be listed as the second largest economy in the world. Its proposed new minimum wage of a little over seven dollars an hour is criminal. Japan’s industrial complex is thriving off the backs of its blue-collar workers. In reality part time workers and females are paid less than the proposed minimum wage. In California alone, for example, the minimum wage is over $15 an hour. In China, the world’s largest economy after the US, the minimum wage is on par with Japan but his pension system is a farce. Chinese citizens must work into their 80s to make ends meet even with their pensions from their communist leaders in Beijing. Chinese communism has lost its way for there is a great disparity from its fat cat bureaucratic leaders throughout the provinces and the common workers in the villages. In this perspective Japan is one step ahead of China but miles behind America.

Singaporean citizens also serve jail time for spitting on the sidewalk. It’s a draconian society. Look out, big Brother is watching. In this sense Singapore is a lot like its brethren in China.

Taiwan supported the US during the Vietnam conflict by hosting American forces in Taichung and Taipei. Why is America cowering before the paper tiger across the Taiwan straits? America, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Canada, Vietnam and other south east Asian countries should base their forces on Taiwan because China only understands a show of strength.

Japan must incorporate major changes to increase its birth rate. It can start with requiring all vendors who contract with the government to comply with equal pay for equal work, decent minimum wages, eliminating part-time work status and the removal of glass ceilings preventing the upward mobility of women. These major changes are directly related to increasing Japan’s birth rate

Using Japan’s example, is it acceptable for Russians to conclude that the Ukrainians attacked them in the current conflict. Or for the Nazi regime to claim that 6 million Jews committed suicide ? Japan will be destined to repeat its barbarian past by falsifying the true history in Japanese school textbooks

The fastest and most effective way for Japan to increase its birth rate is to require all vendors who contract with city, provincial and the national government to to comply with equal pay for equal work, a universal minimum wage and removal of all glass ceilings preventing Women from upward mobility

If the administration is serious about solving the declining birth rate in Japan it should start with elevating the status of women by removing glass ceilings in corporate and governmental institutions and establishing equal pay for equal work for women. And lastly establish a decent minimum wage for all genders

Japan is led by old Japanese men who don’t have a clue about gender equality. It is time for women throughout the country to organize, Unionize, protest and demonstrate in the streets throughout Japan.

Is this typical of all political bodies in Japan? Sadly, the answer is yes. Women are relegated to subordinate roles and subject to sexual harassment even in Japan’s military and corporate board rooms. Societal change starts from the top but that means electing a dynamic leader

Japan is facing a declining population while having an increase in elderly care. To reverse that trend Japan must achieve gender parity in wages and remove the glass ceiling which prevents women from upward mobility in their jobs. Unfortunately, Japan is run by old men with ancient views and they do not see the direct relationship between gender equality and increasing the likelihood of population growth in Japan
