Sorry, but so many ignorant comments here coming from obviously new people to Japan.

Excellent, and safe according to all the scientific papers I read. I am sort of a geek on science stuff. Sorry

I might seem off-topic, but isn't there any editing here on clarification of what someone wants to write in English but comes across as gross negligence in grammar and English syntax? Just wondering.

Will this movie ever come out? I always liked cowboy movies.

I have not used air once this summer yet. Not hot enough and quite breezy with onshore winds coming across from Sagami Bay well into Machida.

Sneeze near it and it is gone.

Who ratted on him, and now who will he rat on? That is how it works in Japan. One gets caught and takes down all the rest.

I am extremely surprised at how few foreigners living here never really grasp Japanese. Kind of sad. It really limits the experience of being here.

Check out this muscle and use a tennis ball. Amazing results if you do it daily.

The Quadratus Lumborum (QL) is the deepest back muscle and originates from the iliac crest and inserts on the transverse process of lumbar one through five and the lower part of the twelfth rib . The QL muscle is flattened and has a quadrangular shape.

Posted in: From what you have seen in Japan's major cities this summer, do you think there are too many foreign tourists visiting the country for the industry to handle? See in context

My opinion is not many, but I do see tourists down near Enoshima and Hase for the Big Bhuda, and they are polite and respectful for the most part.

My wife and I travel a lot in Japan and especially during Covid. Everything looked like tourist pamphlets. Three times walking slowly through the Bamboo Forests in Arashiyama had zero other people. Go to Travel was a brilliant concept for locals and permanent residents if you were not working like us. We tapped into over ¥420,000 in coupons. Showed the vaccine papers and got even more discounts.

We do help lost tourists now and it is interesting to help them out. Very grateful.

But overall, as an artist, Filex is not very good.

If one of the insulting posters showed a beautiful young Japanese woman on Op'S shoulders I bet it would not have gotten so much flack, and if there were pink petals raining down it would have passed by.

Just my thoughts.

Both movies are negative with respect to humans and what we do to each other.

Posted in: Number of hotel guests in June exceeds pre-pandemic levels in Japan See in context

Since January 2020 my spouse and self travelled on 33 domestic trips for 4-8 days at a time. Kanko Densha tourist trains were fabulous and the food was amazing. Hotels were empty so we could book top floors and super room(s) at very reasonable prices. We must have received at least ¥150,000 in coupons.

We sort of missed the opportunities we had to shoot photos that looked like travel guidebooks because there were no people in them to block the views. For example, in Arashiyama for the bamboo forest, not a person in view the whole trek. All the common sites on dramas for TV were as if we rented them ourselves.

The mask-wearing was given and showing our vaccination record was hassle-free. Granted, some restaurants closed early or never opened again, but the service was like wow.

We miss it, but so be it. Still traveling but not this summer as we predicted the crowds to come here, but feel things will slow down.

Be safe everyone and keep healthy.

Beppu Geiser. They block it from possibly reaching four floors in height.

Gran Shinkansen was great three out of four times, but the fourth time had 5 drunks because the alcohol comes with the ticket. They ruined the whole trip from Shinhakodate to Tokyo. They looked like a pachinko crowd.
