There is no hope of recapturing the romance of anything, let alone flying.

As Louis CK said, "...now we live in an amazing, amazing world, and it's wasted on the crappiest generation of just... spoiled idiots..."

In the interests of public health and safety, the "medical complication" should not be censored by the corporate media.

Not media censorship, but the ethical medical practice of patient confidentiality.

So the people don't have any rights to this information unless they are in potential harm.

Posted in: 'Oppenheimer' isn't opening in Japan this week, but the country has a long history of cinema about the war See in context

One key Japanese WW2 trilogy missed by Pugsly is Ningen no jōken by Kobayashi.

Definitely explored the individual IJA soldier's experience from the oppressive regime in Japan, bullying, military corruption and being a Soviet POW.

Captures the universal themes of humans serving a purpose they disagree with but are powerless to resist the march to destruction.

It's dated now, but certainly worth it if you want to see a reflective on Japan's war.

When I visited the DMZ, the UN Command had to give me clearance - they processed my SK alien card a week before.

Somehow this guy slipped out of the airport and joined the Panmunjom tour, so he it seems he planned this.

Posted in: Spacey denies 'aggressive' behavior in UK sex assault trial See in context

I think Kevin Spacey now lives as a perpetual character study and the original soul was lost behind many years ago. Perhaps like Peter Sellers.

He may have a version of events that he calls "romantic", but these younger straight men didn't sign up to his "stage productions".

Spacey clearly has many accusations levelled at him, not in a screen play but in the real world of public opinion and the courts.

Netflix, CBS and Sony have all distanced themselves from him, and they'll have some insight for that stance.

People stub a toe, have a cold, need a chat because they're feeling down, these soak up the resources needed by those who require medical support.

Fees need to be charged, to ration the fixed amount of care.

My home is next to a large park, and there is a great sense of space, and we get plenty of light.

Birds, butterflies, mushrooms are our neighbours. They do have parties, but they manage to keep it quiet and they finish up around dusk.

My job makes me 2.5 years older, so I break even.

We have a moral obligation obviously to go and rescue people, whether in bushfires, cyclones or at sea.

Japan did beat the Boks in 2015, let's not forget.

The current rules have levelled the game more than ever.

Attitude is a big part of winning teams, and Japan's confidence is building.

I'd say the Wallabies, NZ, England are not as strong as they usually are, so Japan has a good chance of progressing further.

In any case, under three months before it kicks off - looking forward to France hosting a good spectacle.

I "coached" a high school bukatsu rugby team in Ehime.

The teacher in charge left me to it.
